Coding and Practice Management Information ICD-9 ▪ CPT ▪ HCPCS Free Code Fax Service Members of the Missouri Chapter can access a consultant to obtain valid, appropriate and up-to-date answers to many coding and reimbursement issues affecting their practices and institutions. The Chapter is proud to provide this benefit for its members. This project is provided by an educational grant from Medtronic. MO-ACC has retained McVey Associates, Inc. to function as the Chapter’s Coding and Reimbursement Consultant. McVey Associates are experts in cardiology coding matters specific to the two Medicare carriers in Missouri and HCFA. To qualify for this free service all ACC members in a practice will have paid their yearly Missouri Chapter dues. Please remember the service is to be used when you have a dispute or denial of reimbursement, not how to correctly code a procedure. How will the Coding and Reimbursement Consultant Service work?
